The FreeJALduino v.0.2 documentation

I uploaded on Google Code the last version (0.2) of FreeJALduino documentation. It is in HTML and is easy to browse. Is a little archived offline site which can help you to get started with this board. Anyway, further updates will be available online on my main site. But for now, is your offline "book".
The theme is "1024px" from Andreas Viklund and it use also a javascript source highlighter for JALv2 language so, it have the look and feel of the Swordfish Basic site
The name of the archive is "doc_v02.zip" and can be downloaded from this page. The jal_v02.tar.gz archive (from the same download page) contain the development environment for FreeJALduino board and is referred in the documentation as being "jal.zip" archive.

FreeJALduino Logger

I'm thinking for a while at a logger, but one which can be used also on other areas of activities. It must have a clock/calendar, a SD card holder, USB connection (because this logger can be used indoor/outdoor connected or not at a PC), and also having an Arduino connector for experimenting with the board on other types of applications. Also, microcontroller must be 5Vcc powered, So, I started the design and I'll see how it goes.

I forgot to say that it will have SMD components. At least, the first design. I will see how to do the same with "through hole" components.

I want this board to be a development board and same time,
an application board if is required

FreeJALduino rework is ready

Finally, the board is finished and tested. The PCB was made by Vasile Surducan at his CNC Router - many thanks for his invaluable help! This time, the board can't be made by toner transfer method - was designed to be made at a PCB fabrication house. Can be made single side (but you must use bridges on component side as I did) or double side, with plated holes (in FreeJALduino page will be soon two archives with production files and also Eagle project files). Still, the board can be made at home by photography method. For an easy made board, I will recommend FreeJALduino5 board which was specially made for toner transfer method.

I removed the transparency containing the silk layer
because acetone entered between foil and board
diluting the toner and the result was a big mess

About...

Well, something like... FreeJALduino post cards. :) . Arduino like boards, based on PIC18F2550/4550 microcontrollers from Microchip. Boards which can be programmed on Arduino manner using Pinguino IDE or JAL language (using a special library).

Until now, only FreeJALduino board is ready and in use, FreeJALduino5 and FreeJALduino Mega 3c are in construction.
